The AI Lab for Government (GovLab) was co-founded by AltaML, the Government of Alberta, and Mitacs as an innovation hub for public sector organizations. Leveraging public sector data, GovLab works to transform government operations by connecting public sector innovators with the private sector to upskill talent and create AI-powered solutions. GovLab brings together AltaML experts, government staff, post-secondary students, and graduates to solve real-world problems together.
