I am Sharyar and I work as an ML Engineer at Workday. My background starts with an undergrad degree in microbiology where my research supervisor thought I had an unhealthy interest in the computer vs the test tubes. My path to my current role is anything but typical. I have worked as an administrator, a photographer, and a biologist. All of these roles have allowed me to develop perspective and skills that assist me in my job today. I have worked on a variety of projects ranging from interpreters to ML for drug discovery.
