Showcase from While She is True

While She is True’s vision is educating, empowering, and encouraging young girls from underprivileged groups or places that are underrepresented in tech fields by providing them the opportunities needed to explore and pursue the technology industry. We achieve this goal using a threefold approach, the first being computer programming classes for girls between the ages of 8 -13, providing technological resources and lastly mentorship. In our presentation, we explore how our unique threefold approach has and can truly change the representation of the technology space for women. We'll also have a couple of interactive sessions that we have used for our students that have ignited their passion for technology. Lastly, we will share some key highlights and accomplishments that we have achieved thus far.
